Camouflage Cool

One of the biggest trends emerging from both the men's & women's catwalk shows for Autumn/ winter 2016/17 is the rock'n'roll, military favourite Camouflage. This doesn't mean you have to start wearing the full on military look, it's taken a new slant this time around appearing on pretty pleated skirts, tapered trousers and sweatshirts but do not fret the good old camouflage jacket is still a must have item. Look out for more unusual pieces in the camo print like dresses, skirts & sportswear, so get your war paint on, it's time to kick fashions ass with some camouflage sass.

Crop Top and Jeans

I am back from my holiday in sunny Ibiza and sat at home in Bristol, England listening to the rain pour outside and I am totally wishing I was back in Ibiza sat on the beach, listening to the waves! At least this bad English weather gives me a chance to catch up with some blogging, we have a lot to talk about!
As anybody who follows me on Facebook and Instagram knows I have a new hair colour and will be sharing this and all of my holiday outfits with you on this blog very soon but for now we are going to have a look at what I wore the few days before I went on holiday and got my hair done, if you can't wait to see the new hair colour check out my Facebook and Instagram. Although the outfits have not yet been revealed to anybody yet, watch all of these spaces over the next few days to see what No Debutante wore in Ibiza!

Today's outfits are very simple but effective and are great worn in the warmer months. I love a crop top and a pair of high waisted jeans and here are a couple of ways I have worn them in July with creeper pumps and cute hair updos.

All clothing and accessories from Topshop, Vivien of Holloway, Primark and Asos.

Thanks so much for reading and don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Facebook for daily fashion updates, ahead of the blog posts.

No Debutante - For Victory!

I have found it so difficult to find the time for blogging lately, this weekend saw no time for catching up on anything since it was rammed with swimming & football lessons, school Christmas fairs and parties and Phil's band The Relay Rips (check them out here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eB_YfXqcmVo  ) had a gig. We did find time to pick our Christmas tree from a local forestry which was very exciting and then the kids decorated it with as many decorations as they could possibly ram onto the tree. Minimal it is not! Happy Christmas!!

Finally I am back today with some more personal style pics. Both outfits are vintage inspired with a mix of 1940's land girls and 1950s style with a modern day rockabilly twist.

For Victory - In the first outfit I have gone for a land girl, work wear inspired look with my Freddies of Pinewood vintage style dungarees, sleeveless denim shirt, headscarf and to keep me warm my oversized cardigan and camouflage jacket, worn with my signature ankle socks and creepers.

Fifties Throwback  - The second outfit is a little more glam 1950s. I am wearing a breton tee, my tapered high waist jeans from Harajuku, Japan with my leopard print fur, the ankle socks and creepers again and I have wrapped my victory rolled hair up in a headscarf for more 1950s glamour.
I seemed to be quite camera happy for both shoots which means there are quite a few photographs to show you. I hope you like them. Which is your favourite look?? Hope  like The Relay Rips music video too!

OK kids, I don't mean to hurry you but there are only 14 days left to get your Christmas shopping done. Good Luck on your mission!

Thanks for reading and hello to my new followers, thanks for joining me!!
 See you later Fashionistas xx

No Debutante - The Clash

Three weeks on am I am still living in an upside down house where half of my kitchen is still in the living room/ lounge making things impossible to keep tidy and even more impossible to find!! So is the chaos that surrounds me!! This would be one of the reasons why I have been behind with my blog posting and even more behind in catching up with all the bloggers I follow! I have also taken a back seat with the daily fashion photos due to the fact that there are builders in my house and I don't really want them to see me taking my personal style photographs! I'm sure my personal style confuses them enough on a  daily bases without my flauting it in their faces with constant selfies!

Today's personal style pics show that I am not afraid to clash and mix up prints and colours, if you are a regular reader of my blog then you will already know this. I wore both of these outfits to work and I love it that I can now wear my jackets again since the weather has got cooler. I have had the H&M leopard print fur since Lucian was a baby (he is now 9 years old) and it is a classic part of my wardrobe that just keeps on giving! On this occasion I have paired it with a rockin' skull tee, denim cut offs and my favourite Dr Martens (I have other pairs but these are just so worn in and comfy that I can't stop wearing them!).
I had caught sight of myself in a shop window on my stomp to work and realised how outrageous I looked with my pink hair, pink sunglasses and my pink headphones clashing up a treat with my leopard print coat. I had to laugh to myself and took a quick photo on my phone so I could show you guys the extreme of my possibly, out of control, accessorising! Love it!
The following day I was inspired by the 1990s and Bjork and popped my hair up into a style that was a bit of a regular for me during the 1990s when I was a teenager. This time I like those Bjork Buns even more in my pink hair! I went for a bit more print clashing with camouflage and Breton stripes worn with denim cut offs again, ankle socks and creepers. The look was both a mix of cute and tomboy style. Business as usual!

Thanks for following and reading and I shall be back soon with some more fashion fun, perhaps looking at another of my current obsessions or my favourites from the autumn winter 2013/14 shows. Hmm? You'll have to wait and see, until then, have a good time, all the time xx

No Debutante - Doll Face

Today's outfits are very different.
I love mixing up prints and in the first outfit I haven't held back with my vintage Americana
print top, ditsy floral skater skirt and leopard print Converse, topped off with a camouflage jacket. Since my hair has been getting longer I have been attempting different ways to put my hair up. I am happy with my victory rolls and headscarf looks but I like to add braids into the mix these days for a bit of texture, it's very grunge influenced and I haven't really worn braids since the 1990s. Today's braids are really random, I don't take too much time doing them which suits the cute, grunge look and despite the lack of effort, is quite pleasing.
On this day we went as a family to Dean lane skate park in Bristol for a skate event. I've added a couple of other photographs from the day so you can see what a stylish bunch my family are, rockin' it in a rockabilly /skate /skinhead style. Check out Naomi, she was nearly half way through her pregnancy here and you can barely tell! I love the photograph of Sylvie walking away from the skater boys (her brothers and friend) so cute!

Carrying on the family theme, I had a little guest join me in the photographs for the second outfit. Sometimes little Sylvie just likes to join in! The outfit is one of my vintage style rockabilly looks with a Breton tee, Vivien of Holloway vintage cut jeans and red accents.

Sylvie's dresses are from Boden and H&M with boots from Converse.

Which is your favourite look?

Thanks for following and I shall be back very soon with some more fashion fun!!
