New York 95

This was supposed to be a sportsluxe post about how I've been wearing mine lately but it appears that my oversized black americana sport tee (from Primark, no less) has managed to get a whole post to itself! You really cannot go wrong with an oversized black tee this season and here's four ways I have worn this one lately in a mash up of tough girl Sportsluxe and bold graphic monochromes mixed with cute girlie topknots, frilly socks and platform shoes.

Thanks for joining me today fashionistas! Follow me on Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest for daily updates and fashion moments all under the NO DEBUTANTE name!! See you later fashionistas xx

Chanel SS 2014 - Picasso Punks

The Chanel Spring Summer 2014 collection is a coin of two halves for me, on the one side the classic Chanel twin set and pearl signature tweed suits and ladylike chic, the other is a colourful, young, high summer punk rock style which is, of course, what caught my eye, making it one of ( or in this case half of) my favourite Spring Summer 2014 collections.

What do I love about Chanel SS 2014? Well, of course, the bright colour swatch, brush stroke inspired prints caught my eye instantly, followed by the matching Peter Pan collared crop top and skirt suit, I love a crop top and  co-ord separates at the moment so along with the bright prints this outfit ticked all of the No Debutante boxes! I love the 1970s style bandeau mini dress worn with the cute crop cardigan and the billowing printed kaftan both great inspirational looks for a holiday in the sun worn with those over sized 1970s sunglasses and rock' n' roll choppy bob hair.

I like the idea of wearing long socks (below the knee) as an accessory to the look which for me would get a street style make over worn with wedges or converse low tops rather than chic pumps. As I said it is a collection of two halves and I am more inclined to go with the brighter, high summer pieces although I really love the monochrome tee and longer midi skirt and the sixties inspired tea dress with the embroidered lace panel. There is a hint of Country and Western style with the lace panelled midi skirts and pretty lace vest tops which are worn next to the more disco inspired asymmetric tops, there's a lot going on here and I am only showing you my favourite pieces! This isn’t a bad thing however as you know a bit of excessive more is more is something I’m rather partial to and Karl Lagerfeld isn’t a man told hold back. Go Chanel!

Sorry it has been a while since my last post but during the holidays my time is spent with my family and I don't get much spare time to blog!
I hope you have enjoyed today's post and check out the full collection here and let me know you're favourite pieces.

No Debutante - Tomorrow Never Knows

I have found a new dress for the wedding! Yey! I cannot reveal the new dress yet but I will confirm that is is from Miss Selfridge. I was given the heads up to check out the dresses in Miss Selfridge by work mate Cath, after an unsuccessful search in River Island and Zara. I checked out the Miss S website and there seemed to be endless SJP type dresses and I went for a borderline SJP dress myself, expect a skater style skirt, again, honestly, it is may favourite shape at the moment and the dress even had pockets and regular readers will know I seem to have an obsession with a dress or skirt with hidden pockets!! I had no idea that Miss S had got so expensive these days, this dress cost more than the Zara dress, to be honest,  I don't think I have bought anything in Miss Selfridge since 2001! Well, it's back on the No Debutante fashion map!

I also fell in love with a silk bomber jacket in Zara, I think I even blogged about it in my Bomber Jacket post earlier this year, it was in the sale but alas it is still more than I am willing to pay. It is deffo one to keep an eye on the website for, it started at £135 and is now down to £75, more reductions please Zara!! The jacket will be mine!

Today's outfits are from Wednesday and Thursday supposedly my working days but we had a very poorly Sylvie Belle who has a virus and kept me up all of Tuesday night meaning I did not get to work on Weds, I couldn't leave the poor thing. I'm dressed in my Gang of Four Tee and denim cut offs and for a change wore my hidden wedge leopard print high tops. I spent most of the day with a hot baby on my lap!
On Thurs I was in a monochrome mood with my H&M swallow dress and New Look aztec cardigan and brightened things up with a red belt and Converse and my leopard print headscarf, looking retro rockabilly cool. The Instagram photograph of this outfit got the most likes ever, so I was happy.

Every morning I take my photographs of my chosen outfit using my iphone and new camera tripod (always in a mad rush) and then on the more relaxed bus ride to work I post a chosen image from the mornings shoot onto Instagram. Sometimes the photographs I choose whilst I'm half asleep, with my poor eyesight are blurred but nobody seems to care as they are all (mostly) looking from their iphones too. I like to post a pic everyday to show the world what I have chosen to wear. Nobody judges you (well, not to your face) or seems to mind if the image is a bit blurred, they just like the photograph, if they want to and most of my likes are from complete strangers, it's a great community and I love it. There are actually some lovely people out there in this cynical world!

No Debutante - Holiday In Cambodia

Firstly, I would just like to say a great big thank you to all of my followers and readers, in the past month my daily page views have more than doubled, as with my amount of followers! I am so happy and right chuffed!! Thanks Kids!!!

I have spent most of today trying to find a not too expensive, but not too cheap holiday to Spain and as yet have not had much luck! I seriously need a week in the sun since the weather here in the UK is so random and the summer is never a sure thing. I NEED to be able to wear my summer clothes, I always get excited at the idea of seeing the next Spring/ Summer collections but there is always a niggle in my head that I won't be able to wear these items without layers of cardigans, jackets and tights! Well, I won't stand for it and I'm booking a holiday, I can't take the risk, enough is enough!!

Today was another windy, rainy day here in Bristol but I dreamt of summer clothes and dressed myself up Festival style in a skull tee and denim cut offs (and tights and a cardigan, it was freezing!!) and my creepers (this weeks shoe obsession) and braved the photographs as my son Mika, took continuous shots of me, which is why I am laughing in the photos, these random shots turned out more natural than posed. I wish I could open my eyes wide in the sun, I never have been able to do it, all my holiday photos of me as a kid are of me squinting with one eye shut, Phil reckons it's because I always wear sunglasses but seriously, I can't see in the sun! Just to clarify, today was sunny but windy and freezing!

Here's today's outfit in a Monochrome Festival stylee.....Brrrr!

All styling by No Debutante. Photographer of the day Mika-Bomb!

Thanks a million, billion for reading!
