Born Slippy

The great thing about a Slip Dress is it's so versatile. During the 90s it was worn alone or layered over t-shirts & flared jeans & there is not much difference now. A shirt or long sleeve t-shirt seems to be the favourite item to layer it over at the moment but with so many types of slip dresses whether it's cute and girly cotton jersey versions, soft grungey velvet's or shimmering, iridescent sheers there is so much you can do with a slip dress. Even the lengths vary from mini, midi to maxi, layer yours up over long sleeve shirts & t shirts in the winter, with anything from sportswear to evening wear, the slip dress is here to stay for at least a couple more seasons, a great investment to purchase now I reckon!

Go Faster Stripes

It's no secret that No Debutante loves The Adidas Three Stripes, I even think of Adidas stripes when I see double yellow lines in the road for goodness sake! Well, fashion has fallen in love with Go Faster Stripes too, I don't mean Adidas in particular but the side panelling stripes added to the outside seams of trousers, shorts, tops and jackets. A trend that emerged last year and has now snowballed to becoming a big trend for Spring Summer 2017 with these Go faster panels being added as front details too in a new twist on the look.
My favourite way to wear a go faster stripe is to not overload on sportswear, yes, this looks great but the new way to wear your sports stripes is with tailored shirts, coats (especially an oversized maxi or trench) pretty dresses or Dr Martens, the heels with your go faster stripes has been around for a while but is definitely still current too. Think outside the box and don't be scared to mash it up a bit.

Here's some inspiration & what to expect from the Go Faster Stripes trend over the next year & start wearing yours the way you want to now!!
