Catching up with Bristol 24/7

Oh my gosh it is hot, hot, hot, here in Bristol! We are literally melting, we love it but our little English houses literally can't take the heat! With Glastonbury Festival on the horizon, which looks to be a scorcher, we are learning how to dress for the summer months, we have to 'learn' how to dress for this sort of heat as we only dress this way when we are off on our holidays and hanging out by the pool, we have no idea how to respond to wearing a very light summery outfit to work!? Can't I just wear my bikini?

Here's a little catch-up with some of No Debutante's articles for Bristol 24/7 from the past few months spreading the Bristol fashion love as Fashion Editor, Emma Gorton-Ellicott.

Love Saves The Day - Sunday Fashion edit

Hey Fashionistas! Here's part two of the Loves Saves The Day fashion specials, check out the fabulous garms all the urban, glitter children wore to Bristols wildest festival.

Love Saves The Day isn't just about the music, it's about the people, the attitude and the style. Nadia Rose went down a storm on Sunday afternoon, with her cute swagger and sharp humourous lyrics and that Skwod of girls wearing old school, monochrome Adidas and their cool as' dance style, they fitted LSTD perfectly, the sportswear, the swagger and their cute charm were impossible to not love!

Sunday saw the arrival of rain and an army of glitter children who were not prepared for it. Mega error! Plastic bags as hats and bin liner coats at the ready!

Who was wearing what....?? Sunday saw, even more, print clashes, marvellous metallic colourful catsuits, amazing headdresses, glam glitter beards, tropical prints and sparkles on everything. Plus this season's new festival favourite, the Cape. In Bristol, we have our very own capes specialist, Capes Capes Capes. All capes are available to buy on their etsy shop or get in touch and get a fabulous bespoke cape just for you! So many Bristol designers offer bespoke versions of their masterpieces, get in touch with them and find out more, there is a bespoke creation waiting with your name on it!

There were new Bristol fashion designers to meet including Entirety Clothing selling sportswear basics with cute and sharp graphics and Hamilton's Beard Bar in The Fash Pack tent was a popular place to be for glitter beards and trams with the lovely Luke winning a prize for one of the best-dressed men of the day in his white dungarees and cute pink tee and hair, catch Luke and Harrison's Shave Parlour at the soon to be opened Glitch on Old Market, Bristol, more info on that very soon.

There were glorious and outrageous headpieces and jewellery from Bristol fashion brands Zedhead headwear and Dulcie's Feathers who mix bohemian flowers and feathers with knitted pom poms, my little ponies and disco balls creating a plastic fantastic boho style that you need in your life!

No Debutante had the best time ever at Love Saves The Day 2017. Thank you so much for inviting me and a massive thank you to The Fash Pack who adopted me and covered me in glitter at LSTD, I had a blast xxx

Love Saves The Day - Saturday Fashion edit

No Debutante had the most amazing time as a fashion correspondent for the brilliant Loves Saves The Day festival in Bristol, last week. The fashion was off the hook featuring everything from boho festival fashion, urban sports to street style fashionistas and everything glitter and glam. The urban flower children were out on show and everyone was so happy to chat about their outfits and have their photographs taken, LSTD have a real friendly crowd and the festival was buzzing.

No Debutante roamed about the festival with partner in crime and bestie Rachael (aka for the day Queen Latifah), meeting people and chatting all things LSTD and Bristol fashion, there will be videos and interviews available to view real soon on the new No Debutante youtube channel, where you will get to join the No Debutante world of fashion fun, so watch this space for the official launch!

The festival vibes were in full swing, rain or shine but there was a lot of hard work being put in behind the scenes of the different fashion stalls that were available from The Fash Pack and other collaborators including Boo Dior

The Fash Pack who are a collaboration of Bristol designers and creatives who come together supplying festival fashion, headdresses, glitter make-up, glitter beards, vintage clothing and the festival must have, the bumbag. The Fash Pack creator Joh Rindom, from Bristols fashion brand, That Thing, impressively co-ordinates The Fash Pack tent supplying festival go'ers with everything they need to deck themselves out in full festival rigour, nobody left The Fash Pack tent without being glittered and glammed up! Yeeesss!!

There will be more to come from No Debutante on the LSTD festival fashion vibes with Bristol 24/7 magazine and due to the amount of fabulous fashion moments at the LSTD festival, this blog post will be a two parter. Whoop! Well done Bristol, you beautiful people!
